I was against expansion from the get go. but, I think a&m was value added. they are very competitive in several sports including basketball and baseball. and actually they are competitive in football too. also they add many cable tv sets so they are worth it money wise. Missouri is just not very competitive even tho they won the east twice in 3 years. it seems they don't have any other sports. but it is what it is.

I seriously think Missouri would be happier in the big 10. it would be great if they could make that move and the sec could pick up a school from north Carolina or Virginia.

I am so glad the OP started this thread because I was thinking how much I wish we were still in the XII.

And I hope someone starts this thread again tomorrow.

How much is each SEC school getting this year from the SECN? 34, 36 million dollars?

Closer to 5 or 6 million each. You don't know WTF you're talking about (again).

Why would I be jealous? The University of Texas made more TV money than any SEC team (and more money overall than anyone, period).

You need to go back and look what comprises your television contracts, i.e. Tier 1 (CBS) Tier 2 (ESPN) and Tier 3 (SEC Network).

The total of all three was about $32 million per team. The SEC Network was just part of it... like $5 million or $6 million.

Suck it.

And the Yankees of Missouri do?

Just be happy we opened the 14th spot for you.

The very fact you are over here says it all asswipe.

Even the people of Austin watch SEC football more than the shitty stronghorns.

LMFAO!

You're bursting at the seams with shite. TU gets 15 mil/year with the pathetic LHN that nobody watches.

In case you haven't noticed, ESPN and the SECN are the same company. Every SEC school gets more TV money than TU.

Here's hoping the next one you go down on is a sick one.

You are one dumb MFer.

Texas made $15 million/year off the LHN, in addition to the $25.2 million for Tier 1 and Tier 2.

That totals $40.2 million for Texas.

SEC schools got more than $31 million per school. That includes Tier 1, Tier 2 and the SEC Network.

Do the math, Kentucker.

No he is right. Texas made more in pure TV money than anyone in the nation in 2015. The SEC is underpaid on the tier 1 CBS deal (on purpose for exposure), so Texas and maybe Notre Dame had more TV revenue last year.

It is funny he beats his chest about that because the surplus is a minor amount to them and it depends on a network that is killing that conference, but he isn't wrong.

Eventually the SEC Network will help us surpass them, as will the B1G when they redo their tier 1 deal. So for now laugh at the man who is basically bragging about having the biggest cell at the county jail.

Only $69.6 million to go to catch TEXAS in revenue, Mr. Cardboard. You're going to need a bigger teat. Good luck with that.

$179.6 million TEXAS > $110 million A&M
