Our playcalling on O has become Croom-esque.

it doesn't surprise me. You guys can't throw and you can't run so it doesn't surprise me Mullen is going to his favorite plays in the vain hope they will work.

Having watched you guys I think the problem is the players not the coaching.

Also Dan's fault.

hudspeth is a big reason why the cajuns are where they are, but lafayette has been blowing up with football talent recently with the emergence of Acadiana and STM becoming high school powers

Has Qyen Griffen from South Panola got any playing time this year? Kid was an absolute animal in high school.

you just want to blame him for everything. Can you not fathom the idea that they just aren't very good?

It's not like Croom left him with much to work with. Plus let's get real State is not an easy place to win at.

Qyen and fellow freshmen, Alonzo Harris have received the bulk of the carries thus far.

Manny Diaz is no where near the loss Hud was, sorry. That's a typical outside view. Wilson is not great, but outside of the Auburn game the defense has been good to average. The offense has been Crooms level bad. Defense took huge personnel hits, offense didn't. Now tell me, what's the common factor in all of this? Hud.

You MSU fans really need to get it through your heads that your program isn't really anything special. Mississippi State, while in the SEC, will always be a doormat program where coaches go to either retire, kill their career, or get promoted to a better job. 9-4 seasons are about the best you'll ever do when the conference is half-way competitive. The sooner you MSU and Ole Miss fans accept your place in SEC society the better off your respective fan bases will be.

It isn't all Mullen's fault. Losing a first round left tackle, a good chunk of your offensive line to injuries, your best defensive linemen, all of your linebackers, and having a QB that isn't good at all when pressured are most of the reasons.
Plus neither State or Ole Miss have near the same talent level as LSU, Bama, or any of the other traditional powers.

Hud has had success at two head coaching jobs now, wouldn't surprise me at all if he was the 'mastermind'. Get this, like Mullen, Hud inherited a running QB from the previous staff, and he actually made him a pretty good passer. Crazy shite.
