Sounds like Moorhead drastically misjudged the dude's character. HE IS STILL ON THE TEAM. What message does that send to the world about Moorhead and MSU
The Jeffrey Simmons assault video was from 2016 when he was in HS.
State still signed him and his punishment was counseling and a suspension against South Alabama. They don’t mess around in Starkville...

Arkansas. We purged half the roster - and they weren't cruel to animals - just the game of football.
I know you're half kidding and this is no shot at my second favorite SEC team. Plug any school in for Arkansas and do a quick search

You are alibiing for bad behavior. Any dog, any apartment, any person, this is unacceptable behavior. The MSU fans should be screaming the loudest since it makes the School and the program look like shite. It goes beyond someone who hits their girlfriend. The girlfriend can shoot a gun or have a brother whip their arse. The dog doesn't have many options. I wonder how many players were standing around while the dog was getting beaten ?
It doesn't make the school or the program look bad. It's a guy who neglected (not beat) a dog, which yes, makes him a piece of shite. He has paid for it dearly in a multitude of ways over and above his "paltry" two game suspension.
Here's a news flash: your favorite football programs have 85 kids on scholarship and it's highly likely that a significant amount of them are pieces of shite too. Welcome to 2019.

GTFO with this BS.
Name 1 SEC team with the moral high ground to call out any other program
Pot and girlfriend assault is one thing. The assault is bad, but the girlfriend can get out or fight back. Animal abuse tells you the character of a person, because animals usually can not fight back or file a complaint. Only a real pussy does what he did, and until Moorhead makes an example of him, he is just like Urban Meyers "the Enabler".

What about a person who steals from his own teammates? Steals from the brothers who trust him?
What kind of character does that display?

Says alot, but the teammates can kick his arse, but the dogs only option is to ball up and take it. Child abuse and animal abuse are two of societies biggest sins. And those enablers who know it is going on, come a close second. MSU, you are on the clock.

In the past couple of years, Auburn has had players arrested for assault, burglary, public intoxication, DUI, and even child pornography. These acts tell you the character of a person, because it does not show respect for others, their lives, their property, or their privacy. Only real pieces of shite do stuff like this, and until Malzahn makes examples of all of them, he's just like Urban Meyer's "the Enabler"

Sry, but Gus is nowhere near UM scumbag level.

I agree, but if we're going to start virtue signaling, we need to make sure we're consistent.

Dont disagree Gus isn't a turd at times, was just saying it is a bit harsh to put him with UM.

So those who cheer on thieves are complicit as well?

Demetrius Walker - removed immediately from team
Cooper Lucas -removed immediately from team
Marquel Wade - removed immediately from team
Maudrecus Humphrey - removed immediately from team - ended up playing at UAB
all of the above were in trouble for drinking, stealing, drugs, and/or gun charges. None for beating women. None for starving dogs. ALL off the team.

What current AU player was arrested for child porn? Are they on the team.

You're referring to Brad Lester and those charges were reduced to unlawful eavesdropping, although he's still a creep.
And if you're going to hold Auburn responsible for a player getting arrested 10 YEARS after he played at Auburn then I guess we're also holding State responsible for Quay Evans murdering somebody, right?
At least get it right and say FORMER player if you're going to reach that hard to defend this animal abusing POS
The burglary you're referring to was Elijah Daniel, that was 4 years ago and he was immediately kicked off the team
If the assault you're referring to is what I think, Landon Rice, then he was also immediately kicked off the team and out of school altogether, and he's a huge POS.
Auburn doesn't play around when it comes to serious charges. We don't suspend for a meaningless game or two, we kick them off the team. As would most SEC schools outside of Bama, LSU, and apparently now State
And it's pretty laughable that you're lumping in a public intox charge with this stuff. College kids drink, that doesn't automatically mean they have bad character.

By definition, the Story kid was immediately removed for MSU's team. He was suspended indefinitely, just like these Arkansas players, until the law ran it's course

It doesn’t fit their agenda of alibiing the MSU POS.

So that's what happened to that guy. We were discussing him the other day, as almost part of the 2013 Ole Miss class
