Pick one to make the playoff

Realistically (not based on actual team or anything) based on national media and natural bias

#1 Kentucky
#2 Mizzou
#3 State (see post above about Vanderbilt)

If you ask me the best rivalry in CFB, I say the Egg Bowl, but find Andy major media person to agree and you have found a unicorn.

State would have to beat Ole Miss. if their second loss is Ole Miss, the way we do things in college football, recency bias would knock them out.

Missouri-Ole Miss winner looks really good for the playoff.

UK and Mizzou have a head-to-head game. That would be a tiebreaker. Mizzou has the harder schedule remaining.

MSU has the tiebreaker over Mizzou.

Well, let's see.

Mississippi St will lose to Texas and Ole Miss,
Kentucky will lose to Tennessee and Missouri, and
Missouri will lose to Texas and Georgia.

So, none of them. None of them will even sniff a playoff spot.

texas looks beatable, and it is at home. they play ole miss and mississippi state the two weeks before us and @lsu the week after. we have our bye two weeks before texas and @arkansas the week before. i think it'l come down to how well our o-line holds up against their front

of @ole miss, texas, and @georgia, texas looks the most winnable

Kentucky and Missouri are teams that are getting better. No one should take them lightly.
