Nobody is twisting facts and Auburn is the better Program historically but over the last decade the gap has shrunk.
State actually has 3 double digit wins over the last seven years.
But my point stands. Auburn should win Saturday but we are no longer an automatic checked off win for Auburn each year.

Why would he sit players for a key SEC West game?
Wouldn't he have sit them against an OOC opponent like K State or even an SEC East opponent like Kentucky?
Or why not against Bama - a game that you have no shot of winning regardless?
Seems stupid to sit them for a game like this.

10 players have to sit 8 games each. A road game as an underdog isn't a smart game to burn your best players on. Some suspended guys will play, they'll probably have to. But State needs to save the difference makers for later on in the schedule.
All this is moot, though. We'll see just how winnable JoMO thinks this game is on Saturday based on who he sits.
I just figure that if he's already starting a true freshman QB then he may just want to get out of Auburn and re-load later

Dont believe this garbage. State will have no tutorgate suspended players this weekend. We need our defense at full strength to have a chance. We may have some out with injuries this weekend

Then you'll be one bitching about us missing a bowl when we have to sit players and lose to a team we shouldn't lose to later?

ETA: I'll support JoMo's decision either way, but it will be telling to see who he sits this Saturday

I comprehend just fine that after the blowout y'all are going to come on here saying "oh well Moorehead knew we would lose anyway so he actually made the suspended cheating players serve their suspensions or we would've only lost by a little instead of a lot"

Yes and an away game against a top 10 team is when you go full strength. We can sit players for Arkansas, Ole Miss,Tennesse, Abeline Christain, and Bama (we aren't going to win that one anyway) We already suspended player for 3 or 4 other games depending on how they spread them out.
