There are a lot of places in Mississippi nicer than a lot of places in Texas. For example: Oxford>College Station

Every State has good places and bad.

Howland came from Santa Barbara, and likes Starkville fine. Santa Barbara is regarded by many to be the nicest place to live in the USA.

FIFY

It still stands. The state of Mississippi is a turd. The only great places in Mississippi are the road that lead out of Mississippi.

As a LB coach if Pellum retired. I think it's Helfrich's intention to get a proven DC. He can't oversee that side of the ball.

I loved Starkville. It needs a brewery, though with Jamie Mixon doing the packaging.

Mississippi has more hardwoods and firs than anywhere in Texas, so your opinion doesn't stand up to scrutiny. In the autumn north MS is quite nice to view, but you wouldn't know.

I do like parts of Texas though.

The culture shock from LA to anywhere in the SEC would be huge. Especially, Starkville, Oxford, Auburn, and Tuscaloosa

Who gives a shite about hard woods? I'm not talking about the physical features of a state. Mississippi is just an overall turd. It's a financial turd, an educational turd, a health turd, an economical turd, and a social turd. While some states have one, two or even three bad national rankings, Mississippi finds a way to rank last or near the bottom in almost every unfavorable study and ranking.

Mississippi is a turd. Shine it all you want, dress it up, put lipstick if you want. But Mississippi is still a turd. It is the epitome of all the bad Southern stereotypes.

I don't think you've ever spent any time in the deep south. I also think you're a dumb frick.

Thanks to the Mississippi Delta which is comparable to a third world country

When you take out the Mississippi Delta we jump up to like 25-30 in most categories. (Which isn't spectacular by any means.) That is how much that part of the state drags the rest down. Don't group us all with that part of the state.

The statistical data about MS is not accurately understood by outsiders. Yet, it's easy to understand if you live here.

Not a bad hire. I'm just glad they didn't get Allen. I think he would have been a grand slam hire

I concur

Allen wouldnt agree to the non-compete with OM. Mullen told him to **** off

I had asked around if there was an offer, was he delaying or what the deal was on him or if it was smoke screen. I just heard from a couple terms couldn't get reached. Well if he wouldn't agree then I'm fine with Dan moving on

Lol. The fear was strong that he would transfer to ole miss eventually.

Took a family friend from Texas hunting at my family's place and the first thing that he said to me after the sun hit the horizon was and I quote: "damn you have some big arse trees over here". All I could do was laugh. He proceeded to smash a doe at 50 yards with a 270. It was great.
And to your turd comment. I spent time in east Texas. Beaumont, Port Arthur, and China. All shite holes compared to my MS. Have a terrible day sir.
