Agree 100%... You and I have had our differences in the time that I've been on this board but if we drank some beers together in a bar we could probably discuss sports like normal people and get along just fine.. Hopefully behop's golf get together will help a lot of OM/MSU posters cut back on the constant flaming.

A couple things
-MSU has never had a free board with no Ole Miss folks on it to rebut, challenge, or spin what they post. Some folks have gone a little overboard with their new freedom if you will. I think it's settles in over time since it's a brand new board.. Ex: When you're 21 you go crazy at bars. At 30 a big night is going to a cookout at a friends house and your wife DDs. Things grow up over time.
-It's just a mb. Do you read other mb's? There's a thread on the Ole Miss Spirit right now saying our S&C coach left b/c of steroids. No way a 3-star can get bigger etc... Have you ever read BOL? If you think EliteDawgs is some new form of mb craziness, you don't read mb's.
-A sizeable portion of the craziness is OM fans trolling. There are daily bannings of over the top nonsense. Ex: An OM fan created an account, talked shite about a recruit, screen shotted it, tweeted it at said recruit, and then bragged on his twitter how easy it was to do this. Of course, the internet sleuths put all this together and figured it out.
-Long story short, if it bothers you, don't read. I would like to add that the majority of MSU & OM posters coexist here better than anywhere else with the exception of a few and alters. If you've ever read sixpackspeak or Nafoom you'd see how bad it gets.

I don't think you can hold folks accountable for what a board they post on say. RebelGator being angry in no way makes me feel any way about you as a poster. I know great people on the spirit. I post on 7 different SEC boards and there are pro's and con's with all of them.

It's like if you put thr banter from the uneducated patrons at a Golden Triangle Chevron online. I have met some great State fans that are realistic about their team and school, and have a healthy level of hate towards us. ED gives those fans a bad name with a very ironic namesake.

Me and a friend have a daily (LOL thread of the day) and it's the funniest thread on ED just from the sheer ignorance of those frickers. I think my 8 year old cousin uses more logic

The difference is that I openly hate this board and most of the people on it. This place is a pretty dumb little corner of the web, and I routinely rag on the rant for putting up and perpetuating dumbass fans and their threads.
I would never defend this place outside of saying that I find it entertaining and do like a handful of posters.
