He has put on 15 lbs of muscle and will be a hard guard with his 3pt range at 6'11" 235.
Moultrie shot 20% from 3 his last season at UTEP- he is no Augustus by any stretch as a shooter- he better keep his arse in the paint

Tell me this Coonass, why did Moultrie out score, out rebound and have more blocks than Augustus in the intrasquad scrimmage last fall???
Why does www.nbadraft.net have Moultrie as the 23rd pick in the first round.

I don't think it's a stretch to say that IF Sydney plays to his potential, he would be the best center in the SEC.
If I had a nickle for everytime I said this during Tubby's tenure for the long list of underachieving big men we had I'd own a whole damn row of seats at Rupp Arena for life. Randolph Morris could've been one of the best centers in the country but had bouts of ridiculous laziness that's hard to wrap your head around for a kid that talented.
The reality is with Sydney is you can send him to go train with John Lucas all summer but he still has to go back to Starkville and play and practice under the tutelage of Stansbury. And unless he's found his basketball chi and is motivated to do something other than crush an economy sized box of Twinkies while he's watching his teammates lift and get in shape all the potential in the world isn't going to matter.

Of all of the games on our basketball schedule the. One I have highlighted and circled is The Kentucky game in Starkville.
Should be a battle. The last 5 in Starkville have been great games most coming down to the wire.

I outscored Cameron Burns in a pick-up game in McCarthy back in 1991- does that mean I'm better?

That's how I took it...

Great resource there.
Their #1 overall pick for 2012, Andre Drummond is a HS kid who won't even be eligible for the draft until 2013.

What was Richard Williams and Ed Murphy thinking not offering you a basketball scholarship.
Back to Moultrie, he played on the US 19 and under two summers ago. Can't say the same for Kodi.

Kodi was one of the leaders in the SEC in doubles-doubles- Moultrie hasnt done squat yet- he is all potential
He may be outstanding- but until he actually does something- I'll have my doubts. Fact is he shot 20% from 3 for the entire season- that's not someone I want shooting the 3 often

Kodi wasn't quite a marksman behind the arc.
As for double doubles, Moultre almost averaged a double double as a sophomore at UTEP plus he's a better shot blocker and defender than Kodi.
Most importantly he isn't a head case like Kodi was. I'm glad Kodi and Rayvern are gone both were ME first players. Moultre and Hood are TEAM players.
