Maybe he will teach the rest of our team some of the fundamentals of basketball. What happened to the 6'7 guy, bundy? Were you wrong on which one was the State recruit?

He has been very hush hush because we didn't want any other schools to know about him. I think Virginia and Miami recruited him.

I got this info from the MSU scout board.
Yes, I was wrong, and Coonass was right on the money on this one and I give him props I'd rather have a 6'10" kid who can finish and hit the three over a 6'7" kid ( who happened to be from Lithuania)

Ok here is the deal, he played a couple of games with professional players, but wasn't paid. This seems to be ok from the info I am getting. Based on what I have heard, he should be eligible and able to play this season.

Majeris is WAY better than Engstrom. He can actually dribble and shoot

These EURO guys usually suck, and don't contribute much if any at all. The only good ones get picked in the NBA draft, and the majority of those don't make it.

Engstrom wasn't brought in to be a stud. He's a project that adds depth. We are hoping that Retin Ojomoh can do some good things, though.

That's the truth, truth.

Majeris has been one of the best players for the Latvian u19 team and is expected to come in and make an impact.
If you watch his video you can see he is very talented and can take the ball to the rim and finish as well as knock down the three.

In all honesty though, he probably won't do much for State no matter how good his film looks. Like woopig said, if they are that good, they'd already be collecting paychecks over there or going to the NBA.

Don't count on it.

We shall see, but I think he can be a key contributor playing behind Arnett Moultrie and getting us 8 points and 4 or 5 rebounds a game.

That'd be the ceiling for his contribution I would think
