Are you high? Put your maroon goggles back on and get pissed. I'm sick of continuously being screwed by the long reproductive part of the bowl selection committee's.

It's State's first bowl game in three years and you finished fifth in the division. Carolina was a division champ. They're going to get preferential treatment from the selection committee.

Going 100+...yeah. Otherwise you're looking at over 4.5 hours.

And bowls aren't decided on your last game.....its a culmination of the season. USC's season >>>>> MSU's season.

It wasn't exactly just a drive down the road....

It's 290 miles from Starkville to Atlanta. How fast are you planning on driving to get there in under four hours?

Money.

We finished ahead of Auburn last year in the SEC, but they went to the Outback Bowl and we went to the Chick-Fil-A Bowl, because Auburn promised to sell out the stadium.

UGA can bring in just as much money to the Gator Bowl as UTK fans can.

We've gotten screwed to years in a row and it's BS.

I would rather have the CFA Bowl, but it is what it is. And for the Rebs that are flaming, hey at least you got your man Masoli eligible this season. How did that work out for you?

It's a good 6 1/2 for me from Madison and that's probably about the airport. Add another 45 - 60 minutes to get down town to the Dome.

Atlanta is four hours from Tuscaloosa and that's with a straight shot up I-20/59.

The Chick-fil-a bowl doesn't care how far it is from Nashville to Starkville.

The Chick-fil-a also may not have a choice but to take Carolina...

I made it from Jackson in 7 going up 20 to Birmgingham. From Starkville, I would probably go up 45 and intersect I40 ?? probably knock maybe an hour off of that - so I would guess 5 1/2 to 6.

You better hope that if this happens, UGA does not cut a deal with the Music City and leave you all in Memphis for the Liberty.

Now where's that damned pic of the MSU band spelling out Croom at the LB from 2007?

I don't think our band is big enough to spell out "Go To Hell Gator Bowl".

After reading 8 pages of other SEC teams getting screwed, I won't feel that bad if State gets pushed down to the Music City Bowl.

But we absolutely should not get bumped down to the Liberty by the Music City picking UGA over us. We would send a LOT more fans to Nashville than Georgia. And we kicked their asses earlier this year, too.

FWIW, Stewart Mandel of SI.com, who generally seems to have good info on this stuff, projects MissSt to the Chick-Fil-A. He's got Arkansas in the Sugar, USCe in the Outback, Florida in the Gator, Georgia in the Liberty, Tennessee in Music City and Kentucky in Birmingham. But he also has LSU in the Cap One and Bama in the Cotton; it seems clear now that those will be flipped.
