Only once has the SEC CG loser gone on to a BCS game. That was undefeated Alabama in 08.
Most teams that lose the last game of the season don't make a BCS bowl. Just kinda the way if is.

FYI.. Tampa news paper is saying Outback Bowl is set to invite South Car. That'll put MSU in the Peach and UF in the Gator.

South Carolina has the opportunity to decline, in which they probably will. Then they will get offered by the Chik-Fil-A before us.
