Shall we give you a medal for scheduling those tough teams in a span of ten years?

I seem to remember a Maine game as well. Correct? That was rhetorical btw.

No, that wasn't me. I stated the star level of the guys we signed. There was a difference of 1 5* on Scout that is a high 4* on 24/7. Which was balanced out by a 4* DE on 24/7, who is a 3* on Scout so I did not list him. Either way it's the same, I could of used the best rankings from every site to make a hell of a list, but instead chose one site.

Never said that. ya'll recruited better than us, but MSU closed the recruiting gap between us and the some of the other SEC schools this year. Usually we are high 30s or 40s. Now we are top 20-25

Yeah they've knocked off several SEC schools in the past decade. Including us.

Dooley could win more SEC games at La Tech than he can at Tennessee

Bama, when they sucked and? Go ahead and schedule UAB if that's the case. Oh wait, you did that last year and almost for embarrassed. Well Troy had LSU beat a few years ago, so there's your quality OOC win.

I don't feel sorry for scheduling some cupcakes for a change. It was only 2/3 years ago our SOS was #1 in the Nation.

Your argument for scheduling them is for beating a Mike Dubose led team?

Honestly it might be what state needs right now. You won't gain any respect in the conference or with the media but maybe what the team needs to do is learn how to win consistently.

I can't decipher that, but I assume it's some sort of flame relative to Coach Saban being hired. Being in the wilderness, etc.

In all honesty, with our schedule this past season, that team would have won 7-8 games imo. Remember that team lost to LSU in the last seconds on a goal line, lost to top 15 Georgia tech by a touchdown and top ranked Houston by a touchdown. They were better than a normal 5-7 team, probably why since then we have lowered our OOC scheduling. Had we had 2 cupcakes in 09, instead of Ga Tech and Houston (who were both unusually good that year) we would have won 7 games and gone to a bowl.

SEC title, three ten win seasons, still a marquee decade for most programs.

Yeah and gave #1 Fla at the time all they wanted.

The Houston game we so got royally fricked in the arse in that game. TWICE in the final minutes.

Yep & throw in a 4-7, 3-8, 4-9, 6-6, 0-2, 0-7, 2-6 seasons and you got it.

Congrats. You regurgitated our worst decade ever and snuck in some "vacated" smack.

This.

Why the heck are you guys still traveling to the likes of UAB and Troy?

8-4 is a pipe dream for Miss. St. I see 6-6 or so.
