The SEC agreed to give them the screen if they turn in their cowbells.

Alabama has one in each corner of the stadium, but it would be cool to have one large one like UT, State, or Texas.

What's funny is that some of the biggest and best stadium's in the country have some of the smallest video boards at the same time. Look at tOSU, Michigan, Tennesse, LSU, Florida, Coliseum, Rose Bowl, etc. And the ones getting the bigger HD boards are some of the smaller stadiums in the country like Ole Miss, Miss. St., USM, Arkansas and others. Seems like a penis envy type thing going on here. They can't drum up enough people to support their football programs and fill their stadiums. They have to do something else to help build interest in their programs ($6 million is a lot cheaper than an expansion/renovation). It's sort of like putting a sock in your pants to draw attention away from other deficiencies.

Tennessee has a large, new HD screen. Smaller than MSU by inches. I believe it was the second biggest HD screen in CFB behind Tejas this past year.

State's is nice. For the size of the stadium...it's kind of big. Almost like a 60" plasma in a shotgun house. But it's cool.

I thought all SEC teams already had a HD screen. Apparently not.

Arkansas does not litter its board with ads but they damn sure run the board as if it is a network TV station.

When there is not action on the field, there are commercials blaring through the sound system and on the board. Literally. They never stop. It doesn't matter if it is the first snap or 3rd overtime.

Wal-Mart, Tyson, Fuji Film, Arkansas State Troopers, So and So's Sausage, This or That trailer hitch company.......

After having our ridiculously large board for 5 or 6 years most of us are ready to kiss it goodbye. And after speaking to Texas fans, they are becoming of the like mind.

I like the big board at RRS.

We don't really have commercials on our videoboard during the game....only time is pre-game. I remember being at Razorback Stadium and the commercials...but it was also cool that during pregame they showed Gameday. I was in the stadium early and got to watch College Gameday on that big thing.

Though it would be cool it they made it a little larger in height.
