I’d give good money to hear what he had to say about the current happenings in college football.

It wouldn’t be positive, that is for sure. He’d probably call out Kiffin by name for his antics

If I recall - his idea was each player coming out of high school would declare as a student athlete or professional. Student athletes would be treated as they used to (be on scholarship, probably get a stipend of some sort) and would be guaranteed their scholarship for 4 or 5 years. The professional track would go into a draft, sign contracts, and could be cut or traded. But you can't have it both ways - you have to declare one or the other. Not sure what his thoughts were on number of years of eligibility. I'm pretty sure he would not have liked NFL players coming back to use up remaining eligibility.

Yeah, he'd probably likely say he was recruiting that RB that is leaving the Seahawks and heading to mizz-who.
