In his announcement, Perry's reasoning for picking Arkansas was made pretty obvious.

"Some will ask, "Don't you want to wait for a Kentucky or a Kansas or a Duke to call you," wrote Perry. "I say, the University of Arkansas is my Kentucky, Kansas or Duke."
It should be noted that while Perry does currently go to high school in Georgia, he is a Little Rock native and lived in Arkansas until a few years ago. That’s why he plays with the Hawks’ AAU team.

Perry is the second pledge for Arkansas in the class of 2018.



Here, I'll help. Kid was ALL HOG until he went to Europe with the Adidas reps . When he came back he decommitted, ignored kentucky, and immediately committed to MOO STATE. On twitter, a bunch of money references were made then deleted. He was bought, and it's very obvious, and it involved the SAME PEOPLE who just got busted. Look to be screwed in a matter of days, dude.

How are Hog fans the only people in the country unaware that the Hawks are a dirty AAU program? Just because you don't get the players doesn't mean it isn't happening.

Well, since we don't seem to have the kind of psycho fans who follow a kid's mother on twitter, or follow recruits into catfish dinners on visits, or flood message boards because they're NOT butthurt over basketball recruiting. or have a documentary ready to publish on the summer activities of a HIGH SCHOOL KID.....I expect she'll be fine with whatever her son chooses

As a dawg living in Little Rock, basketball is all these Arkansas cultists have, and they're not even exceptionally good at it. People here will never admit, though the facts are there, that they have the worst athletic program in the SEC West. I guess the butthurt is understandable. They are just projecting their butthurt about their garbage athletic program onto little old MSU, who will soon pass them up in the only decent sport they have left.

No I'm not going to admit that because there's at least 2 or 3 other teams vying for that title.

Btw- you're whole comment would sound more authentic and true had it not come from someone supporting a school in Starkville MS.

Lastly, AAU hoops are definitely dirty, the Hawks etc.

Since joining the SEC, Arkansas has a winning record against Mississippi State in football, basketball and baseball. You must be talking about facts related to non-revenue sports.

I guess I'm observing current trends, like the 4-1 record MSU football has over Arkansas the past 5 years, and not looking at the scores 20 years ago, since that has nothing to do with the current state of any program. For what it's worth, I was just trying to get a reaction out of OP; I dont really believe Arkansas is the worst athletic program in the west. I think we'd be tied for 5th with Ole Miss in last due to the upcoming football hammer.
