Outside of Frank Martin, it's not even close.

Avery has done the best job. He probably won't win it though.

Florida last year had its worst season in over 20 years.

White has come in, with a few new freshman, and has turned things around with a team that can't shoot.

I remember when this board said UF basketball was done when Donovan left

You know Alabama beat Florida at their place like a week ago right?

So we give out coach of the year awards for head to head match ups?

Because 1 game defines a season.

And Ole Miss beat Alabama. So should Kennedy get Coach of the Year because he beat Avery head to head?

Alabama has beaten South Carolina, TAMU, LSU, and Florida. Has Ole Miss beaten any of them? No.

I think it will be a pretty close race.

Between Avery Johnson and Frank Martin, yes.

I don't see how Mike White would be in the conversation.

We are 17-10 and 8-6 in conference. We are very mediocre so I don't see that warranting an award.

I think Avery will be pushing for Coach of the year. Especially if we make it to the NCAA Tourney.

He has more top 25 wins than Grant had his entire Bama career.

Avery Johnson wins that award. You obviously don't watch SEC basketball. He's done more in 1 year than Grant did in 4

Avery has done more than Grant in all 6 years of his tenure.

For some reason I thought Grant was there only four years. Either way, Avery has outperformed White by a substantial margin this year. It's not even close
