Our AD is in his first year. Stupid, uninformed comment.

We just hired a new AD. One of the finest in the country.

We hired him specifically to clean up Ray Tanner's shite show.

I fully expect Sellers to transfer,

Sellers won't transfer. He'll jump to the nfl.

There are plenty of options out there better than Beamer. Chadwell, Golesh, Silverfield, Harrell, Cheney, etc.

Anyone with previous HC experience would be a massive improvement over Beamer. Hell anyone who has at least been a OC or DC before would have a better resume than him.

Sellers is gone either way.

We're going to lose Stewart though.

We're going to lose 40 players off of this roster to graduation and the transfer portal.

Mike Shula gets so much undeserved hate from Bama fans.

The guy took over the team in mid-summer after Mike Price got caught with the stripper.

He had no spring practice to install his program.

He took over a program right in the middle of major sanctions.

He was thrown into a no win situation. He should be beloved for simply bridging the gap between a major cluster frick situation to the GOAT.

Ray Tanner's legacy as an AD is one of abject failure.

Gamecock buddy of mine told me Beamer brought a PowerPoint of his plans and it blew Ray Tanner away. Is that true?

My buddy said old boomer Ray was probably dazzled by the whippy slide transitions. Unreal.

Ray Tanner bungles hires and then gets the easy letdown option available

Not saying South Carolina can pull off some amazing hire without him, but Tanner went the extra lengths to frick it up

Muschamp and Beamer is all that really needs to be said

I bet LSU liked him. 20 months after he was fired Saban had Alabama #1 in the nation.

Have to disagree with some of that. Reasonable Bama fans knew he was stepping into a shite show and appreciated him taking the job when no one else would. But at the end of 2006 he flat out refused to make staff changes that needed to be made. He left Mal Moore no choice.

I have always wished him the best and hope some day he can come to care for his alma mater again.

Even though things obviously didn’t work out at Bama, I have always wished him well.

Great family.

My dad knew Don when I was a kid in Miami during their run in the 70’s.

Stewart hustles, and doesn't give up. Wouldn't want to lose him, but couldn't fault him, either.

Sellers isn't NFL-ready. He really needs another year, with quality coaching. Either that's in Cola with a new offensive staff, or it's somewhere else. But he'd be foolish to leave for the pros.
