You're so full of shite your eyes are brown! Alabama has transcended the rest of the conference and are in a league of their own. The rest of you clowns need to do something about you own programs and stop your envy and jealousy of Alabama. Y'all are too stupid to realize that Alabama is actually carrying the conference from a prestiege standpoint.
Holy shite. This isn't even a melt thread.

Clemson doesn't seem to think so. Nor Ole Miss really.
Yeah, all of those conference championships and national titles Ole Miss is racking up is totes proof.

That it's Bama's defense that's carrying them every year. Even WITH Bama's defense being as good as it is, if they played their old style of offense, they'd have gotten blown out in back to back title games by Clemson. You realize that right?

As a fan of the SEC I would say he is right.

You're missing the point entirely (as usual). If half of your league had an offense anywhere near as good as Ole Miss has been, do you think Bama has a cakewalk to the CCG every year like they do now? No. No they do not.

I don't think anyone is saying otherwise.

Bama had 221 yards on only 34 carries in the title game. If they were running their offense from 2009-2012 they would have rushed for about 350 yards and dominated the TOP.
It's hilarious watching Big 12 fans beat their chests. All that offense and no titles to speak of.

Half as good as Ole Miss? They were middle of the road this year. They lost so many games because their defense gave up 40 points a game.

Alabama) when it comes to the reputation and prestiege of the conference ( recruiting, national rankings, playoff opportunities, etc.). In short, most of you folks want something that will actually hurt your teams in the long run...dumb.
WTF dude? What he said isn't wrong? Hell, there have Bammers even saying that Bamas offense isn't anything spectacular. Sorry your team isn't being praised like you think they should be every second of the day.

Hurts had 63 yds of that. In Bama's old offense, their QBs didn't carry the ball. If you don't have to respect the QB run game, you can focus on whichever RB is in the backfield which changes the outcome. Its hilarious watching LSU fans try to understand offense as the game changes around them and they fall farther and farther behind the curve, ignoring reality.

One, holy fricking spellcheck batman!

Two, I don't really give a shite about conference prestige. I will take my chances with fielding a top 10 defense every year and let the chips fall where they may. The SEC has high powered offenses in A&M, Mizzou, Ole Mis, etc. Where has that gotten them? We don't need to field offenses to compete with other conferences right now. We have to worry about the SEC schedule first.

7 of the last 9 national champions have been top 10 in scoring defense. 4 of the last 9 have been in the top 10 in scorin offense.
Keep telling me how "reality" is that offense wins more titles than defense though.

Yet they torched Bama's defense again for 526yds and scored 43 points on that all world Bama defense compared to your joke of 125yds of total offense and 0 points.
Let me clear it up for you in a language that you can easily understand. With your defense, and an offense like they have, do you still lose 10-0? Or would you have blown them out?

save your breathe with these clowns. Alabama was 13th in the country last year in points per game (39.4). that's FIRST in the SEC and ahead of Clemson, AND nearly 6 points per game more than the year before

Yeah, LSU totes don't know how to shut down high powered offenses.

Man has been a HC for 14 years since 2000. Only won 10 games once. Never won a Conference title.
He is the perfect judge of "nothing special"

There's really no hope for you.
I didn't say offense wins more titles. I'm saying that a super duper badass defense and a paltry offense isn't winning jack shite period. That's just the opposite of having a super duper badass offense and a paltry defense like you like to make fun of other teams for having. You're just the same as them LSU, only it's the opposite.

That's funny. I haven't seen anyone say a bad offense is going to win anything.
Keep displaying that stellar reading comprehension.

Bama's offense isn't high powered. It's a smoke-n-mirrors scheme to protect a young QB who can't throw the ball very well.
