maybe the fact it was not helicopter is a positive sign. They kept him comfortable in the ambulance and had him ready for arrival an hour later.

It was updated that it was indeed by helicopter

I swear 2020 broke these morons, we didn’t see political threads and shite flooding other boards until after 2020. Sure we’d see the occasional one on OT but now we’re getting them everywhere. M/TV board has become objectively worse because half of it is just people talking about how everything is woke.

You guys made it political.

You couldn't contain yourselves. You could have down voted me and went on about the thread. Instead, you and others felt the need to publicly berate me for even thinking about mentioning the vaccine outside your designated speech category zones.

That is unacceptable to you politically, and damn it - you will not have people doing it.

I said nothing about the left, I said nothing about the right. I said nothing about policies, and I said nothing political.

I will not apologize for your response, nor will I apologize for hoping it something less serious.

This has changed the mood of my day. Love the man and hope for the best. He was obviously not healthy all season. I’ll keep my opinions about what he should’ve done differently to myself. People will listen if and when they’re ready, and not a minute before.

I’m not sure how things work as far as getting a transplant

Usually a metric like EF numbers.

EF at (x) puts him on transplant list

EF at (y) takes him off transplant list

Transplant is pretty extreme and guessing most would try other methods over 6 months to 2 years to see if something else works without transplant. Drs can do what they do but if the patient does not follow the odds go down for longevity.

he wouldn't be on a hour long ambulance ride if it was a heart attack, I don't think

he'd be at the local Starkville hospital

If you have a chance and have never read his book, it will explain in his own words how he sees life.
One of my favorite people.

Yes, a Veterinarian and in private practice for 32 years....and don't even go to the "well, you are not a real Doctor" routine

I really hate this because I think the Coach has worked his arse off to make Mississippi State a better program. He’s old school, and I’m sure the job of dealing with modern athletes, NIL, and the portal has to be stressful as hell. I really think he’s been out there “swinging his sword”. Is there anyone else you would want to share a beer with and talk football in Key West? Get well Coach Leach.

Absolutely crazy. Leach came by my Christmas party last night and was in great spirits. Hope he's OK.

Blockage = speed to treat

Failure = gradual but harder to fix

Again, not a doctor, just been down this path before

If anything, just because the man is borderline autistically honest. You can ask the dude any question and I don't think he has the wherewithal to bullshite you.

The sport is just better when it has a guy like him and HBC in it. For every few Hugh Freeze/Bobby Petrino sleazeballs, and every few Nick Saban/Brian Kelly robotic cutthroats, you need a Mike Leach/Steve Spurrier to balance the whole thing out.
