You pretty much summed it up perfectly...Kid puts it all on the field and wants the ball every play. Just needs to get whatever is going on in his head fixed...

@AUSportTalk: Do I believe Dyer will be back? I am leaning towards no but he has surprised me before.

He's a different type of kid than Crowell. Dyer is a competitor and gives 100%, but he's cocky. He comes off as arrogant to many who know him and has had ego problems since last year.
Gotcha. Most good players are a bit cocky. I guess if it has led to some entitlement issues or something it's a problem though. Hopefully he gets his head out of his arse.

Like you said, most good players, or just most athletes in general, are cocky. But I have a friend from my school on the AU baseball team and he said Dyer takes it to another level and no one likes hanging with him

Well tonight Alabama's RB was in NYC for the Heisman ceremony, and Auburns RB tested positive for drugs...pretty much sums up the 2 programs

1 player doesn't sum up an entire program

He's right...sometimes

I'd be surprised if he got kicked off the team for just this though. You can't hold a man's swag down.

He can hang out with his good buddy back in Little Rock if he doesn't go back to Auburn.

Should've come here, he'd have 5 more strikes to go.

Yea, I expect him back...but hell, what do I know?
I think Chizik is doing this to teach him a lesson and let him know this won't be tolerated at AU. Hopefully it works.

I hope he transfers and then admits to getting paid and the plains actually do ignite into flames

I realize we have an absolute bat shite crazy fan base at times but this is one time our insiders were right. Unlike the others 50,000 times we filed FOI's and stalked opposing fan bases.
There were always whispers that our staff didn't like his attitude and then you couple that with his interviews in the state paper about how Petrino wasn't showing him the love enough and his infamous youtube videos and it's not hard to see that he was a little over the top arrogant even back in high school.
Hopefully he gets that worked out sooner than later because those guys seem to be the type that blow their NFL money within a few years of being out of the league. He needs to start surrounding himself with better people now so that is not his story after he retires from the league.
