How many games missed are we talking about for a failed drug test?
No fricking clue...

dude...if its failed for marijuana its one game
I can't guarantee that but I bet Gene would make sure it blows over until next season so he's available against Clemson next year

I doubt he comes back, honestly. Kid has serious entitlement issues. He needs to straighten his shite up.

I just don't understand why such a big deal is being made over this for just one game.
Does not sound like foreshadowing to a failed drug test.

Just wanted to let everyone know there is something to the Dyer rumor but I can not go into details. There should be a statement released sometime between now and the bowl game. I can tell you one thing, the outcome is not very good. Do not ask any questions about details b/c the information you see above is all you will be getting.

I hope so, but I heard...
First time caught = no suspension
Second time caught = Suspended half the games
Third time caught = gone
TIFWIW, I don't know...

Not looking good for Dyer. 6 games is rough.
why didn't LSU follow their protocol?

I just don't know if he was caught the first time, at least I'm not aware of it...
Maybe the staff will suspend his for the bowl game, lay strict guidlines for the summer/spring/etc..., and give him a chance to prove himself before the first game against Clemson.

I assume because Spice was just recently outlawed, or something along those lines.

Also in there:

When it comes to drug policies, keep in mind that some league schools have — in past years — not counted the first positive test against a student-athlete. That first random “FAIL” simply puts the athlete in full-scale testing mode. Meaning a “three strikes program” might actually require four positive tests to reach the dismissal stage.

Hopefully that's the case. It's stupid that they have to suspend kids over something that almost everyone on campus does in varying degrees.

I'm pretty sure weed isn't the only issue here. There were already grade and attitude issues that were likely to cause him to transfer.

I agree
I'd like for Auburn to have strict rules against it, but not as strict as we do...
Hopefully he'll sit the bowl game, be given strict guidelines all summer/spring, and prove himself capable of starting game 1. I guess it's all up to Gene Chizik to sort this out. I'm sure they're pissed, as are the players, since he is supposed to be one of our few leaders.
Just when I thought he got his head on straight...

bummer deal.
Yeah it's only weed, but hell it is the rules and a guy with his talent is looking at NFL. Sacrifice something good for something better. Plus you let your whole team down. Oh well time will tell.
