Bryant avoided probation because of political state influence, his iconic personality and the way the game was managed in that time period.
Stalling’s reign was darkened by probation with Langdon, Jelks, Hootie and Paul Jr (google fraud) and the boys.
Saban certainly did his part to uphold the tradition as well with his documented contributions. .
Interesting that all 3 brought about NCAA rule changes.
