Maybe I am conceited. I think Arky is a top 15 program.

Exactly. Why trade a lazy underachiever for a proven lazy underachiever?

Gruden has a chance as well but Richt has kept a close eye on Miami it will be interesting to see if they make an offer and what he does.

Miami is a good program but you will never see it restored to what it was during the 80s and 90s, if it is the NCAA is sure to follow.

Not sure if the top 2 would leave but this would be my wish list:

1. Harbaugh
2. Petrino
3. Mullen

4. Malzahn
5. Butch Davis

Wow, now that is a job he may be interested in. I would love to make 2 to 3 million a year and live in Miami.

That would be nice but you wouldnt be coaching at the "U"...They are broke and I dont know how they can pay shannon off and hire a janitor. Did you see how many fans they had at that game today? Their president soaked the footballs program of its money and even the former players refuse to contribute money.

Harbaugh would be a good hire but he's only going to be around 2 3 years max.

They really do play in front of 10-15 k typically. A buddy of mine is recruiter for Florida and he tells me they will only alow recuits to come to UM florida or UM FLa State as usualy only games with any fans and that is because half are from UF or FSU

How can anyone hate Miami?

I grew up in FL and can tell you Miami is one of the shittiest places in the country, and i say that having lived in Baton Rouge. They have been cleaning it up, but it is no place for an english speaking person.

I could understand why. Outside the nice and extremely expensive parts, you are talking about what is basically a 3rd world country (in language, poverty, crime, etc). And if you live in the nice parts, you are dealing with the most conceited people on earth. As a young single guy....awesome. It is not exactly where you want your kids calling home though. But for 3 million and the chance to restore the biggest dynasty in modern college football, almost anyone not currently at a top 10-15 program takes that job

Summed up nicely.

I'm also dislike the Miami area. Along with what's been mentioned, I think that the supposedly "exclusive" areas are pretty cheesy with the whole Ibiza-esque clubbing scene ect. It's like the worst of Hollywood, Vegas and Manhattan's Meatpacking District all rolled into one.

Otherwise, I've never seen what is really happening culturally there aside from some interesting things musically from the Cuban community.

Of course, I'm sure that this is exactly what appeals to 18 yo college football recruits.

Most top 15 programs have won a conference title at some point in the last 21 years.

Arkansas is definitely not a top 15 program or job. No offense to Arkansas fans, but I don't even see how it's really debatable.
