After talking to people close to Jovon Robinson, Southeast Recruiting Reporter for Scout, Laura McKeeman, believes Auburn is in the driver's seat right now.

Did some more searching today, sounds like Bama has cooled a bit on him and/or is slowplaying him.

"That's all he talks about," Rogers says. "He wants to come to Alabama. He likes the running game. He wants to play power football. Plus, he's a Nick Saban fan. He had a chance to talk to Trent Richardson and he saw those rings Trent was wearing and Alabama is where he wants to be."

"They have been around since I came on the scene pretty much. I liked them a lot early. They came down to see me and asked me where I wanted to go. I said I wanted to go to Alabama. Now, they are off to the side a little more."

Just when I was starting to get excited, you go and tell me we are a consolation prize. Thanks.

Same chick called Mississippi State the leader for Jason Croom who supposedly now is leaning towards Tennessee
She is hot, but im not sure how accurate her predictions are.

Recruits never change their leader. She was obviously mistaken if Tennessee is Croom's leader now.

I've been thinking about where I could make an impact and I think it could be at Auburn. They say I could make a good combination with the backs they already have. That sounds great to me. I have to pay attention to the depth chart. I don't know if there's enough room for me and everyone else that is a running back there. I'm not trying to worry too much about that, though. I do like that they have the family thing going on. They have a really strong fan base too. I feel like Auburn is the best atmosphere too."

Hoover can only do so much, just look at Kerry Murphy.
I've heard JR is in that level of intelligence too, his GPA is well under 2.0...

This is going to turn in to another Rodney Coe. Arkansas and Auburn both went back and forth last summer thinking he was a lock to both schools and then during the year both schools backed off him unexpectedly and he winds up at a JUCO for next season.

I wondered what happened to him. Makes sense now.
I thought he would have made a terrifying LB.
