Wikipedia credits Alabama with 24 NCs so clearly their standards are pretty loose, and yet even they only give Auburn credit for 6. Those other three (1914, 1958, and 2004, if you were wondering) must be some weak, weak sauce.

Holy shite. You are citing Wikipedia as though it’s some sort of official source?

You do realize that just about anyone who can connect to the internet can edit just about anything on Wikipedia, right?

As for the matter at hand, who gives a shite? If some entity recognized Auburn as their national champion, claim it. I say the same for all other schools. If that hurts your feelings or puts sand in your vagina, then that’s a you problem. I say that because how many national championships a team recognizes has exactly zero impact on your life.

You're saying Carnell Williams and Ronnie Brown couldn't beat USC?

Yes. The AP voters that season agreed.

In the 1958 NCAA football season, LSU was the consensus national champion, finishing with an 11-0 record and winning the Sugar Bowl against Clemson. While LSU was the clear choice in the AP and UPI polls, Iowa was selected as national champion by the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA). Recently, Auburn has also begun claiming the 1958 national championship, though this is not a widely recognized claim.

Auburn finished the 1958 season with a 9-0-1 record and is now claiming the national championship for that year. This claim is based on their own analysis and is not widely accepted, as LSU is the consensus champion.

Undefeated. Undefeated in the SEC as well.

No you had a tie. LSU was undefeated, and beat Clemson In the sugar bowl. AU was a distant 3rd. Same as 2004

alabama’s 1941 “championship” alone has 2 losses and finished third in the SEC.

It is because 1941 is a dumbass claim that most every rational Bama fan agrees needs to go away. I honestly think UA would be smart to do so immediately, as it only makes AU look more little brother than ever before.

In won single action, AU added at least 4 of 7 similar 1941 shite claims to their books.

Congrats.

This is the most soy cuck boy loser crap I've seen in a long time. I would be seriously embarrassed if I were an Auburn fan.
