Rummy
Oh shite. Well, that's not good.
FWIW...I'm attempting to be better, though I do suffer from shite Stain Threads from time to time.

"The Syrian Assassin"?

Real old money is really quiet and stays well below the radar in both appearance and media.
Nope, Manziel is definitely new money. Old money has been money since before the Reconstruction, and old money doesn't work. They just collect rent.

No. Just The Syrian. It reminds me of the way fanatical muslims refer to their mildly famous terrorist brothers around the globe.
The Moroccan
The African
The American
The Egyptian
The Japanese

This.
And old money damn sure isn't a general manager at a Honda dealership, that's 3 hrs driving distance from home, and can only travel home on the weekends. Old money doesn't send momma out working selling real estate either.

I know a few GM's at dealers. if you had money to sustain a wealthy life style, you would not work at one, let alone, a honda dealer

Bottom line is that was a very interesting well written article. Managing a car dealership is not a bad gig, but if you think....for a second that gets you front court seats in Miami for the NBA finals you are out of your damn mind. This will get ugly as journalist start digging. Best thing for ATM would be to deal with this autograph scandal quickly, concede and move on without the Manziel family. The real money involved in all of this shite are the VERY POWERFUL ATM boosters, many of which have the Old Money we are talking about.
ATM Fans, don't kid yourself, this will only get worst due to internet journalist that no one can control.

I know a few GM's too - at Mercedes/Audi/BMW/Lexus that make damn good money.
A GM of a Honda dealership three hours away from home, doesn't sound like old Texas oil money to me.

It doesn't buy NBA courtside seats, rounds at Pebble Beach, weekend jet setting in Toronto with Drake, beaches in Cabo either. Honda dealership salary just doesn't stretch that far.

Pull your head out of your arse ATM homer......seriously, I get millions in inherited money, enough to have my kids party like Paris Freakin Hilton (Hilton, that name makes sense) and I commute to manage a Honda dealership? Seriously?

I am not mad dummy....I love watching the kid play and have buddies at ATM that are very real boosters and former players.
I also own businesses and this shite does not add up unless you are a blind ATM fan....you will be mad in the end. Trust me.

My mother was involved in the Bobby Joe Jr. busted parole case. She was the bookkeeper for the social worker who allegedly accepted the bribes. She was sequestered by the Texas Rangers and had to testify about what was actually on the books. She was scared the Manziels would bury her in a field off Paluxy street.
