Meet Jontre Kirklin: LSU's 'quarterback'

Kirklin was primarily a quarterback at Lutcher High School (above).
Career numbers:
526/958
55% completion percentage
7,468 yards
97 touchdowns
35 interceptions
574 rush attempts
3,035 yards
5.3 yards per carry
51 touchdowns
Also punted 7 times in high school and placed 3 of them inside the 20 yard line.
Was a three star dual threat quarterback prospect coming out of Lutcher.
Currently listed at 5'11, 184 pounds, despite being a fifth year senior at LSU, his career numbers are quite anemic:
20 catches
313 yards
3 touchdowns
2 rushing attempts
6 yards
6 tackles
Has not attempted any collegiate passes.
Should he see snaps at quarterback tonight, Kirklin will have appeared in multiple bowl games at multiple positions as he saw significant time at defensive back during the 2018 Fiesta Bowl vs UCF as well as time at wide receiver during several bowl games.
Kirklin was part of the 2017 LSU signing class which included two other 3 star prospects in Justin Jefferson and Clyde Edwards Helaire.

No matter how poorly or how great he does tonight, he's still guaranteed to do better than any Aggy players in their bowl. At least he didn't give up and run away.
