Couple of observations on that game last night.

Typically outstanding crowd. 15k maybe. Teddy Bear night on Senior Night is one of the greatest traditions in basketball.

Nice to hit the 112 pts mark. Could have easily been 125. That was with Tessa sitting it out.

Kelly Harper has Mizzou competitive. They outscored us in the 3rd and they never gave up. Mizzou is young and they're going to be dangerous under Harper in coming years.

Columbia is a capital city. Are you telling me Kentucky fans don't exist or live anywhere else but Lexington, KY? Kentucky is a bandwagon program based on historical success.

We're dogshit. But it's not new that a lot of UK fans were in attendance. Any mens game I ever attended playing UK there were always tons of UK fans. Particularly, when Downey went off and we stormed the court beating UK - there were tons there.

the only SEC AD who was/is worse than Ray Tanner in handling men's big 3 sports is Mitch Barnhart - and the gap between those two pretty significant -

football - USC 4 straight wins - 22-13 overall

hoops - Lamont Paris never lost to Calipari as UK coach and is 2-2 overall -

baseball - I'll take Tanner's tenure out of the mix and USC is still +5 in the series since 2013 - won 4 of the most recent 6 back to 2024 - even one of Paul's program worst ever 6 SEC wins last year was at UK

I really dont give a shot about womens sports good for them im happy really but im not watching that trash

I still think some men's D1 program (maybe even SC) should give her a shot if she would do it. Love her or hate her, she is the best in the business right now.

First sentence? Take the time to read the shite you're typing, damn. Also, our fans constantly reaffirm how shite our athletics programs are, we do not need others chiming in stating the obvious.

Second, I do not care about women's basketball either. But so many others claim to not and then post about it, whether starting threads or replying in them. Nothing new.
