Johnny Manziel was lucky enough to come in at a time where CFB wasnt used to QBs like him fully. You had the big passing threats that could run like Tebow and Cam and maybe RG and Wilson. But none were just run first ask questions later.

He was a great QB but he benefitted from some really great receiving talent that bailed him out on multiple occasions as well as a system that spread the field and just made it tough on defenses in general at the time.

But now that he’s in a system where he actually has to conform and learn the playbook into a set offensive style, he’s failing miserably and he’s currently the laughing stock of pro football.

I'm really curious to learn how, exactly, you define 'better,' because it evidently has little to do with actual accomplishments.

Team sport. Sorry he didn’t get to play on an all star team.

Ten years from now, who will people remember? JFF or McCarron?

Probably right. Not only does the goalpost move, but the distance between the uprights can be shortened or lengthened depending upon the circumstances.

I guess that depends on if JFF is found in the trunk of his own car along with ten or fifteen pounds of cocaine ten years from now.

That's more likely to happen than him ever starting another game in the NFL

People seem to have forgotten the McCarron family pedophile ring so that probably wouldn't make an impression.

His start in the CFL was considered the worst 1st game in CFL history.

I hate Manziel by all means but going off of stats will show it. Actually watching the game will show something completely different. His O-Line collapsed every play and he had to throw the ball within seconds every time.

Again, I hate the man but he is on the worst CFL team.

Plus the Bills are one of the worst teams in the NFL talent wise and would probably start Allen if they had Receivers and an offensive line. They don't want another Nathan Peterman.

I remember it, I just can't seem to recall what AJ's role in it was...

Dont disagree with any of that.

But it does look like to me that he's lost a step. He used to be so slippery and quick. Partying hard, not conditioning, and growing older will catch up with anyone eventually.
