Marquise, I'd shut my damn mouth if I made Alabama's 2 biggest mistakes. A pick and then I'm too afraid to catch a punt and I let it roll for 75 yards And Hanks, I wasn't even sure you played last night.

If they feel they are still the best, then they should tell Nick to stop outcoaching himself.

What would you like them to say? Nothing in those comments sounds unreasonable.

you don't come out and say we're the better team and we just beat ourselves. basically have LSU zero credit for the win.

Pretty stupid analysis by both. Mistakes are part of the game just like touchdowns and field goals. Some mistakes are forced by the opposition, some are committed by stupidity, i.e. Maze's whatever of the punt.

Did the best team win last night - undoubtably. Could the Tigers win again a couple of months from now? Who knows. As they say, that's why you play the game.

I'd think they should say: it was a tough game, but we got outplayed tonight. Our opponent made plays when they needed to, and we didn't.

That's not entirely true but Alabama fricked itself by leaving points off the board.

I would expect them to recognize that another team came into a very hostile environment and did what they had to win and give them credit for it. But I guess when the polls come out this evening we will see how many people agree with Marquiz and Darius.

which ones? the ones from long FGs your kicker can't make, or from wildcat passes that got picked off?

Saban's boneheaded attempt of 2 50 yard fgs early in the game didn't help matters IMO

It was a 9-6 game in OT. Neither team proved to be convincingly better than the other. LSU's kicker just made one more kick than Bama's did. Whoopie. Bama had more total yards and first downs and were it not for FOUR missed field goals, wins in regulation. So it really wasn't an outlandish claim at all...and if Stanford and OSU both lose they may get a chance to prove their point.

I thought it was funny how Maze came out all beating his chest and getting up in people's faces talking shite. I was saying stfu at the tv. Then he had that huge loss when he just fell down and then threw a pick
