but there are a few around here that are vastly arrogant and delusional.
Delusional college football fans online? NO WAY. And definitely limited only to Ags. No other fanbase has biased homers.

Seriously though, which posters on here are "arrogant"? i truly believe that A&M would have beat LSU convincingly had we played towards the end of the 2012 season. New freshman QB under new system and we showed significant improvement game to game. But you say stuff like that on here and people think you are being "cocky" or "delusional".

you guys should read a few of the classics golden posts on the Rant that have surfaced.
"put Trindon Holiday on the Defense Line"
"We should paint our field purple, like Boise's blue"
sigh...

aTm is worse than Arky when it comes to talking shite and never winning a god damn thing. Last year was a dream season and y'all won shite. JFF will be ineligible and Sumlin will leave for NFL.

A friend of mine, die hard Aggie, came to the LSU/Auburn game in 2007 and sat with me in the Greek section. He witnessed first hand The Catch by Byrd with 0:02 left on the board. To this day he agrees that Tiger Staidium is "Significantly" better than Kyle.
I agree that when you lose it will be because our team is better, but that won't be the only reason.
I've been to 25+ Aggie home games in my life. Don't underestimate the stadium it gets very loud.
But I also went to the LSU vs. Bama game this past year and set in the south end zone. At the end of the game when Bama was driving it was the loudest stadium I'd ever been in.
Both LSU and A&M have 2 of the top 10 stadiums, fan bases, and game day atmospheres.

why in the frick would Sumlin ever leave A&M?
- recruiting Gold Mine. check.
- huge alumni donation base. check.
- nationally recognized program and university. check.
- head coach in the premier football conference. check.
and in a year or less, he'll get the shot at proving that he can still lead a good team in the SEC West without Johnny Football.

Wish ours was more closed in, not saying it would be louder than Tiger...never been there...but it would be significantly louder than it is now. Also wish the old people on the west side didnt wait until the game was on the line to get rowdy.

That was an outstanding April Fool's joke by the athletic department.

BATON ROUGE -- With the National L Club Spring game complete, the LSU Athletic Department has begun preparations to install purple field turf in historic Tiger Stadium in time for the 2010 home opener against Mississippi State.
"It's now time to expand the traditions that surround our football program," LSU head coach Les Miles said. "LSU is going to take the lead in what we think will become the wave of the future and that's field turf in the colors of your school. The installation of the purple field turf will add to the excitement of a Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium and this team will enjoy the opportunity to play on what will be the finest surface in football."

they would have lost at least 1 fan permanently if they rolled out a single plot of purple field turf.

It could have potentially inspired a Snoop Dogg song though
And how amazing would the nickname "Purp Turf" be? What with the multiple meanings towards the purple field, marijuana AND criminals

Although Jadeveon Clowney had just as many autographed items for sale on ebay. The NCAA is investigating Manziel.
Sounds to me like you assholes are barking up the wrong tree over here on the SECr.
