What is it with the education system ofer there in Alabama? I asked a simple question and nobody seems to be able to understand it.

Ok here goes again:

Is
taunting
a
sign
of
poor
sportsmanship?

If you can't read it get someone to help you.

Jesus, they sound like Vandy fans when we use to "win" moral victories. As a Vandy fan who never liked that attitude, A&M you lost. And you were kind of lucky it was as close at it was. The writer is a jerk. I as a native Alabamian was not hoping for Johnny to get his comeuppance, I have always enjoyed the show he puts on. After all I am a huge college football fan. But, one thing is for sure, he is a liar. Before the autograph pros came forward, there was a puff piece about Johnny going home for a weekend and all he did was complain about signing autographs for his family friends and specifically his 6th grade teacher. So he thinks signing for people he knows is a pain in the butt - but has no problem sitting in a motel room signing for strangers. Don't think so. So A&M'ers don't give me all that BS about your code of honor - cause we know your most famous student surely broke and all of you know it.

yes it is, however it was handled and not rampant through the program.

Ok. Thank you.

So question for question, what is it that's led you to believe this a football culture problem and not an isolated incident?

What if taunting is not isolated and repeated over and over by multiple people?

YES. And that was the first taunting call from a Alabama player since Maze in 09. So what is your point?

People or players. You can't have both, because only one impacts the game. Quit trying to make a it an argument about fan bases. Because LSU isn't the golden child either, and was in the news for a certain banner that was hanging outside of a frat house. So go sit in your glass house and hope no one finds a rock.

Good god, dude. When even your fellow LSU fans find you whiny and stupid, you seriously need to re-evaluate your approach to, well, everything. Your posts in this thread are exactly why people give LSU fans a hard time for being epically butthurt.

But the taunting is isolated. Unless, as i asked with my first post, you can point me to other examples that I have missed. I need to see more than one incident to call it a 'football culture' problem.

Plenty of reasons for me to hate bama, but i think you're just wrong about this one.

That is the point. Taunting is an integral part of the Alabama culture. It is repeated over and over and at nearly every game. It is oficially sanctioned and encouraged.
Taunting is so common that it is accepted as a part of life.
