The only time you win is when Tennessee is down, and you can't even beat us consistently then.

We have been a dumpster fire for a decade+

10/14/2017 vs. *South Carolina (9-4) L 9 15
10/29/2016 @ *South Carolina (6-7) L 21 24
11/7/2015 vs. *South Carolina (3-9) W 27 24
11/1/2014 @ *South Carolina (7-6) W 45 42
10/19/2013 vs. *South Carolina (11-2) W 23 21

You want to look at our season results during all those years you were beating us? Why doesn't that excuse work for us?

Throughout the entire series history between the two teams:

From 1903 through 2004, UTjr is 19-2-2 against USC. During that run, UTjr is 206-52-9 in those seasons, or a .772 winning %. During those 23 seasons, Tennessee has 9 seasons with 10+ wins, 21 seasons with overall winning records, plays in 19 bowls winning 12 of them plus a national championship.

USC is 106-139-4 (.426) during that same time frame, with zero 10+ seasons, 9 overall winning seasons, and plays in 4 bowl games winning 2 of them. No titles, no championships.

From 2005 through 2018, USC is 8-6 against UTjr. During that run, USC is 109-71 (.606) with 3 10+ win seasons, 11 winning seasons, and play in 12 bowls winning 6 of them.

UTjr is 91-84 (.520) during that same time frame, with 1 10-win season, 6 winning seasons, and play in 7 bowls winning 4 of them.

Clearly, When UTjr was winning all their games against USC, it was more during when USC was down, but Vol fans seem to overlook that. South Carolina's overall program history isn't at a .520 winning clip, which is what Vol fans call the "down" period of their program.

In fact, the last 5 seasons, USC is 32-32 (.500) while UTjr is 34-29 (.540), but USC is 3-2 against y'all......

Getting ready to be 4-2.....

It's out of necessity - I would use UTe, but then people would think I was talking about Utah.....

Unreal - just when they start playing decently they go back to Gitmo.

This concussion thing is ridiculous - he could and should have gone back in the Bama game and if that’s his only injury is fine by now.

1. George Rogers.
2. 11 wins...print the rings.
3. Beat Tennessee in down years....sometimes
4. Upset Alabama in a lucky win about 6-8 years ago.

That about cover it?

Dude,

I never said SC had a great history. I'll agree with you it pretty much sucks. But, the kids that are being recruited in the current recruiting class, and 3/4 the ones playing on college football rosters TODAY weren't even BORN when Tennessee won it's last championship. Think about this. When this year's class of SR's graduate from UT, they are the last ones that were alive back in 1998.

What happened back then simply isn't relevant to the current psyche of college football.

It's out of necessity that you talk about Utah and Texas on a SEC board? I hope your team is as forgetful of who they're playing as you are.

We've been down before and we came back.

When Bama was 3-8 people said the same thing about them.

They had the exact same problem. Bad coaching hires.

They hired a good coach...and look at them now.

Well it took you 30 years between the last two, so you seem to be on that same trajectory... (and for the 1967 one, you had two losses so there's that pesky little detail.)

Make it 47. I don't claim the Bammer math ones...

By the way, USC Lite's championships were between NEVER and EVER.

God I would hate to be a Tennessee fan

Imagine having history and knowing what the top is like but then basically being Vandy. Nobody cares about your titles grandpa. Not fans, not coaches, not players, not recruits.

Tennessee is the SECs Colorado. Congrats.
