I don't think Florida fans understand just how bad Mullen is at recruiting.. He is very awkward in home visits, and gets lazy.. The plus is he will coach up all the players that decided to join the program. The 3 stars will shine. The problem is he will get your hope's up by winning 6 games in a row, only to lose to South Alabama..Whatever you do don't schedule FAU, USF,or any small in state school..his team under preform against small schools. He gets the players up for big games though,..expect some Huge upset even Georgia by chance..but only to lose to Kentucky because of 15 QB up the middle sneaks. Once his game plan is figured out in a game, he refuses to adjust and it gets frustrating. Many Mississippi HS coaches talk about his lack of recruiting the big fish. Send Spurrier to recruit those kids

Not saying your wrong but please provide one game outside of the Bama game this year where MSU got up for a big game?

He coached AT MISS STATE. NO ONE CAN RECRUIT WELL THERE.
How do you people not understand how bad Miss State is?
Do you people not remember this is the second worst program in the SEC? Of course he recruited three stars. It's all that will come to such a shitty program. It's the Vandy of the West. He had to recruit against 20 other programs that offered far more just in a 1,000 mile radius. Only way he could get recruits was to do what Ole Miss did. Cheat like crazy.

I would say your right, but Mississippi kids seem to stay in State. He was losing recruits from Starkville. Even recruits saying they didn't hear from him.

This year only Bama game he got them up for.. but he did win against Texas A&M and Auburn back to back a couple years ago..only to lose the rest after Bama. Expect one big win and 2 bad loses

He lost one of the best receivers to come out of MS in a while even when he was from Starkville. That says a lot

If in Starkville and he didn't want them, would make sense they didn't hear from them. Gotta get the kids that fit your system. Especially at Miss State. Have to find diamonds in the rough.

I can’t consider those big games when A&M goes to shite in November and Auburn can go from a natty to five wins in one season

AJ brown fits any system..the kid is NFL ready out of HighSchool.

Maybe he wanted to leave a terrible town like Starkville?
I mean no offense. But Mississippi is a God awful state. Why wouldn't he want to leave? A top tier player who can go anywhere in the country going to a terrible program like Miss State would be a bad move. I would assume they have insanely ugly women overall too. If I'm Brown. I go somewhere in the 21st century with girls in Yoga shorts that don't have cellulite.

He went to Ole miss.. still in state. Its happened every year I can list player after player. I know y'all have to look at the glass half full cause he is your coach..and he will coach up kids.Especially mobile QB's..just be ready for some head scratchers on the recruiting..like the recent QB

Ya'll must think very highly of us, you keep stealing our athletic personnel Pat McMahan, baseball coach, our top 10 tennis coach, Scott Strickland and now Mullen.
your administration is just like your athletes thieves and thugs.

I haven't paid attention to recruiting and just assumed that OM would be last in the SEC because of their troubles and limitations.
Nope, ranked ahead of Arkansas

He has Jones coming with his Mom today. Ohio State's 24/7 guy has him flipped to Florida and Ohio State fans seem like they are thinking he comes as well. Seems like he really just didn't want Corral all that much. No one is celebrating it, but for him to go to Ole Miss, means the effort wasn't there to get him. Or he was mad we went after others.

Corral is listed as much smaller than I would have expected. Under 200lb QBs aren't going to last long in Mullen's offense

Lol at thinking Florida has a chance at Fields. Eason 2.0
