Agreed. Everything I've seen from him so far is he does a lot with whatever talent he has.

He wouldn't be a candidate at Florida, but the other schools, yeah, I could see them taking a shot at him.

He's done a great job at ISU and kept Toledo playing at a high level once he took over that job. He's a good HC.

Just remember - you hire another head coach from Ohio and he can always come home.....

For Florida to make the move they have made, they had better hit a home run with their hire, and I think they will be looking for a more seasoned coach with a longer term successful resume.

What Campbell has done there this season is amazing. Has that team playing great football.

If you're gonna spout off bullshite like this, at least make it believable.

I don't know how many times it has to be explained to the morons on this board that MONEY is NOT the issue at Tennessee.

We have plenty of money, and several billionaire boosters in case the AD doesn't have enough in reserves. IT'S NOT THE MOTHERfrickIN MONEY, it's the willingness to spend it.

Win or lose, Tennessee fans spend money on football, and that's the problem. Until Neyland stadium starts being empty on Saturdays, the board of trustees is gonna sit on their fat asses and laugh all the way to the bank.

Not as big a deal as it once was. Most of the money earned by the athletic dept isn't thru ticket sales anymore.

Not "most of the money"...but $36 Million (net of taxes) isn't something to dismiss, either.

Don't forget the millions in revenue from concessions, apparel, parking, etc.

Problem is that any school hiring him is responsible for the $9.4 Million penalty they would owe Iowa State on Campbell's behalf per his contract if he leaves before the end of year 3.

Would be such a shame if something were to... happen to that money.
