Massive factor in going after Lane that everyone is overlooking.

I think LSU fans, boosters, brass, and former players...
Just want some fricking offense man.
We have been utter dogshit on offense EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR.
We have had two heisman QBs, and two great offensive seasons, but other than that? Not shite. And BK wasted the holy hell out of one of those.
We suffered through Brandon Harris, Anthony Jennings, Nuss, Minimum Johnson, Danny Etling was OK, that one kid that went to Auburn and like two other schools.
And holy frick this years offense takes the diarreah cake and vomits on it.
And whats Lane doing? Making the playoff with a D2 QB? Dudes an offensive guru through and through.
Even when you suck, having an offense is just fun. Not watching Nuss pretend limp every play or being unable to run the ball.
Lane with Harlem Berry/MVB could be something
And he'll have a retarded amount of NIL money to play with..

I think it's funny that LSU had one of the greatest offenses college football has ever seen and it was coached by Orgeron (a dude who had his head buried in the defensive line for his entire neanderthal career) and Ensminger sitting in the press box with a dusty 1962 book on how to win football.

Wait, what? Until this year LSU fans complained that all they had was an offense. Last season, 2024, LSU was 5th in the SEC in yards per game. In 2023, LSU was 1st in the SEC in yards per game. In 2022, LSU was 5th in the SEC in yards per game.
LSU fans were clamoring for old school Les Miles defensive football.
So again, what in the hell are you talking about?
