Perhaps you were simply pulling for the underdog and you let your emotions get the better of your sports sensibilities.
Most Aubie fans are fairly emotional but also eventually come to their senses. They are, like we Gamecock fans, perennial and eternal optimists for underdogs.

aside from the two fouls on meyers that werent fouls...find me some examples of bad foul calls on UMD.
Carolina had two phantom calls against them in the first as well. When they run a much smaller lineup than us and we get the ball inside they are going to foul a lot. People have this weird notion that fouls have to be 50-50...but they don't.

It's always obvious when people have a lack of knowledge about basketball and only pay attention to foul totals to decide on officiating.
South Carolina had 48 total rebounds (25 offensive) compared to Maryland 26 total rebounds (7 offensive). That tends to provide more opportunities for one team vs another. South Carolina almost had as many offensive rebounds as Maryland had total rebounds as a team.
