I agree. It was a cheap shot but time to move on. He got ejected and a 15 yarder, that's enough I would think.
I actually thought the hit by Wilson? on the Vandy receiver the week before was much dirtier, the ball wasn't even thrown to him, and he only got a 1/2 game and no penalty.

There are a bunch of puthys on this board. Obviously, Wade didn't hit the sumbitch hard enough because he played more later in the game.
I sincerely hope Wade was trying to hurt him. I hope he was trying to hit the guy hard enough that the guy's unborn children felt it and got all tingly as they jiggled around in his ballsack. That's football.
Wade just got there a fraction too soon. Had he gotten there a millisecond later, everyone would be cheering him for making an incredible hit and playing the game the way it is supposed to be played. Instead, some of those same puthys who would be cheering him, are now calling him a dirty player.

There's a difference between being hurt and being injured.
Wade hit him so hard...hurt him SO bad...that he returned to the field shortly and played.

One thing I noticed that his "fair catch" call looks like him blocking the sun in his eyes..
He then runs forward with his right arm still over his eyes then wiggles his left arm (fair catch call?)

That vandy player needs to learn how to field a punt. Him misjudging the punt and then running forward at the last second, without calling a fair catch, made it a pretty risky situation.
