that should but Tennessee into the top 25 in recruiting.

There is definitely something fishy about this kid. The army all-american game pulled his offer to play in it. Bama seemed to back off him around the same time (Mayish) cause I stopped hearing anthing about him, supposedly USC pulled his offer.
Seems like there is more to it than just sleeping with an older married woman, imo.

How many times did he try to commit to FL?

Ambles attended Florida’s Friday Night Lights camp last week, and decided that Tennessee was the best place for me. Rumors circulated on internet message boards that Ambles tried to make a commitment to the Gators, something that he cleared up Tuesday.
“Going into Friday’s camp Tennessee was in the lead,” Ambles said. “After the camp they still led for my services. At no time did I commit to Florida.
per scout

Why would he go to a school with no QB, and no good QB prospects on the horizon?

Because it's Kiffin, baby.

Farrell also said a while back that this kid could end up as the #1 player in this entire class. I know that might not be the case but it speaks to his talent.
Also, as to why he would come here: Kiffin runs the USC offense that is based around big, rangy wideouts. Ambles would thrive in it.

UThug is a good fit for this guy!

It's sad that UT is so happy about this.
Hell, UGA never even offered this kid so you know he has some problems.

Ambles landed exactly where I figured he would. UT needed and wanted him more than any SEC team. UT was already thin at WR and has recently suffered several significant WR injuries. They needed a go to WR and he wanted a place where he would be THE go to WR. Great fit for both him and UT.

I know this kid has talent, but I'm not exactly thrilled about this. Our fans over on "GoVolsXtra" refuse to believe this kid has a few problems. They think UF and Bama would have killed to have him. Wow, how can our fans be so delusional?

He left FNL without an offer so I don't know how that is UF dying to have him. Fact is he was mediocre at camp. He was very good in drills, but when it came to 1-0n-1s he couldn't get any separation from the DBs. He lacks speed, which of course is a big issue, and added to his behavioral issues he was just not worth the risk for many teams. UT needs WRs period. I can see why they took a shot.
