I agree but I feel very confident that he knows how to be successful but time will tell.

Mike Stoops was DC of the #1 defense in 2003 with Oklahoma.
Didn't post a winning record until his 5th season at Arizona.

Bob Stoops is a fantastic coach. There's no guarantee his little brother will be nearly as good. It's extremely doubtful either could win big at Kentucky.

I'm guessing Mike Stoops' career is being overlooked in this discussion by the UK fan. He was a hot-shot DC at Oklahoma. Had a #1 defense in 2003 and was hired away by Arizona. He couldn't win at Arizona, which arguably has far better resources than UK. In a much less competitive league.

I'm not sure, I was posting from my phone earlier.
Anyway, keep in mind I'm not talking about Mike just Bob. But yes Mike was succesful at Arizona by having a winning record. (8-5 multiple seasons).
I'm just pointing out that if Mark is anywhere near what Bob is then then Kentucky is very lucky. I guess though that any success Mark has will eventually lead to him getting hired away including his coaches.
