Mark Richt took time off to study football last season. This season he proved he now knows how to win and lose games. Losing is part of the game, right guys?

Not sure if a coach has done less with more than Richt--must be a candidate for most underachieving ever.

i said that Richt wouldn't leave Georgia because he loved it there and i still stand by that. that is why we are stuck with him. and before this loss people did love the guy, some still do. i never have claimed to.

Nothing other than I think its funny that literally one game has changed the fanbase from loving him to hating him again. Yes it happens at LSU but at least we dont deny it even when we are in a Miles loving phase. Richt built up goodwill by avoiding the 3 west powers. If yall had to play any out of Arky Bama or LSU USC would have gone to the SECCG and Richt would have been forced out. As it is a terrific guy and good not great coach gets to keep his job and yall will continue to wallow in mediocrity. Which is perfectly fine by me.

i say our fans may have shifted but i would say that right now he is still in favor for the majority but his stock had gotten pretty high following GT, dropped a little vs LSU, then a bit vs MSU
Bobo is taking the brunt right now but it is RIcht's fault. the rest of what you said is pretty much common knowledge already: whether richt lucked out, he's a good guy but mediocre coach, LSU fans love watch Georgia suffer

Joker Phillips page said he was the illegitimate son of Bum Phillips at one point this season. It's since been removed.
