I don’t dislike the guy but he had the most pedestrian stats of any Heisman winner in recent memory.

Not the very best I've ever seen but he did do this against Ole Miss:

Well deserved, the man pretty much carried the team offensively to the NC. I think it was over 1000 yards after contact he had or something crazy.

Too bad Julio can't get in.

He had 1,075 yards after contact on 271 carries which means he averaged 3.9 yards per carry....after contact.

He had 1658 yards on the year, which means 65% of his yards gained came after contact.

In games like against South Carolina, we basically went into wildcat and let him just pound the ball over and over. He had 246 yards in that game, while McElroy went 10/20 and threw 2 INT.

Seems pretty good to me.

He's the reason we beat South Carolina that year. They had our number through the air, so we just ran wildcat with Ingram all day.

24 carries, 246 yards, the only offensive TD scored all game (all the other points were off FGs and a 77 yard pick 6 by Mark Barron).

I think Suh is quite happy with being a Super Bowl winner.

Met him a few times when he lived in Kenner next to a buddy. He's a great guy. Happy for him.
