You were a man among boys out there today. It sucks that he had the surgery and it clearly affected him through the season, but damn, he did work out there today. He showed exactly why he won the Heisman last year, and he has represented the University of Alabama with extreme class and humility. He's one of my all-time favorite players to wear an Alabama uniform, and I hope he can continue to be a force when he goes to the NFL.

As an LSU fan, I'm very happy he's moving on to the NFL. Good luck Mark.

frick you, he's from michigan, and wanted to avoid embarrassing himself. he is pro material, but small, and will not last.

I remember when he was the "surprise" and "mystery" guy in that 2008 recruiting class.
Everyone was all "Who's the 3 star kid from Michigan" and no one thought much of him compared to the rest of that year's studs.
And he turns out to be the guy that brings Alabama its first Heisman and one of the greatest to wear crimson.
I picked him as my favorite recruit that season because of a track picture from high school. His arms looked AMAZING and I felt bad for him being ignored.
Looks like I picked well.
But - PLEASE STAY MARK!!!!!!!!

As much as I'd love for that to happen, he has nothing left to prove. He's a top 15 pick imo, and he should go to the NFL.

SO, universities can only have kids from their own states now?
Out of staters don't count?
Guess y'all will be giving Mettenberger back.
And JaMarcus didn't really count for y'all. Or PP7.

Good player for y'all Bammers.

A great player and seems like a great kid.
I'll reserve my hate for Saban and my neighbor flying his brand spanking new Oregon Ducks flag. Won't hate on a good kid who has done good things and carries himself so well.
