No, the overwhelming majority of those players, especially on defense, came there to ND because of Freeman’s acumen on defense when he was the coordinator. Anyone that follows recruiting knows this. Now, in all fairness, BK was told to lose a few of his coaches by the administration at ND, and he brought in Freeman to start, and the special teams coach that left for the colts. BK is out of touch, and has a knack for passing blame onto the kids, instead of himself.

Nah, just stay under your cover, then revisit this 2 years from now. Kelly did a good job at ND, his problem with the fan base was always how he could never accept fault, and that’s why his last 5 years were hell on him mentally. The guy hated going on the road to recruit, and mostly because he also fell into the Willingham recruiting philosophy that he can stay home, and ND’s name recruits for itself. They are all facts written over the years on him. Like i said, revisit this after you get sick of him down there, and his faaaamilyyy.
