Good win Arky.

Next up UNC, please beat the hell out of them. Thanks.

Blowout or not, have to give props to Hampton's Quintin Chievous. Has 22 points, still playing hard with 4 and a half minutes left, and he can barely walk up and down the court.

I still think we need to shoot more 3's. We have guards that can drain them. Use that weapon.

Nah. North Carolina is nothing to be afraid of. Hopefully this gives Arky a swift kick in the arse.

Don't say that. I get too much pleasure out of hating the shite out of you.

I am going to go out on a limb here, I know I am crazy for saying this... but I think Kentucky pulls out a win here.

I know, I know, I must have been drinking too much today. But for whatever reason I just think they squeak this one out.

Somewhere a Louisville fan has $50 on a prop bet that Hampton will score 30 in a 2 minute span.

And Kentucky plays a deeper bench then most college teams, Verne still complaining that they haven't played everyone.

I tip my hat to the Wildcats, on a day where the Madness part of March Madness was in full force they are doing exactly what they should do.

Kentucky wins 79-56. Hampton beat the biggest spread since 2004.

In all seriousness, hopefully the slow start was just due to jitters and waiting around for the previous game to finish with such a late start. Booker was really, really off tonight no matter where he was on the floor. Hopefully it's not the beginning of a slump. We really need him.

That spread was ridiculous.

Yeah it was like 35. They hit that at one point, but cooled off afterward.

Towns was really good tonight though. Showed good energy throughout and played consistently well from start to finish. Most importantly, he also stayed out of foul trouble.

Going to be interesting to see how they handle Cincy. They're going to employ the hack the hell out of you approach and UK has risen to the challenge when that's happened this season. Hopefully it pisses them off a little bit.

Wofford had the perfect game plan to beat us and just couldn't break through. They did everything right. We didn't get near our magic 15 turnovers forced stat as Wofford took great care of the basketball. There were some really bad calls both ways by the refs, a theme that has stood throughout the entire day.

Sounding like a 2:45 pm tipoff for UK on Saturday.

ETA: 8:40 pm for Arky and NC.
