Manziel became the 1st freshman QB to lead a team to a road win over a #1 team.

I will present the Bama counterpoint:
He wasn't a true freshmen, though.
Thank you.

I heard from a source that he's not a true freshman.

Dude is awesome -- as good as Cam, IMO. I hope he goes to the NFL after next year. Unfortunately, since he's only 6'1", we may have to face him for up to 3 more years.

Johnny is listed as 6-1. But I doubt he is even 6 foot. Don't think he gets many looks from the pros. Hopefully we have him for 4 years.

The kid can have Heisman potential. He gets a bunch of attention for his running, but his passing was pinpoint all night. He is really good.

The league just has to hope that TAMU's defense stays a major concern.

My main concern with Johnny is staying out of trouble. I think he has matured a lot the past few months, but he does have a small history of doing stupid crap. Oh course I'm injured about his health as well. But nevertheless, we are very excited about the future

He was amazing. I thought Bama might could keep up with him, but they just weren't good enough. I'll give them an A for effort. They should hold their head up with pride. They gave the Aggies their best shot!!

They are wrong. Chris Leak beat LSU in 2003 @ Tiger Stadium.
And Leak was a true freshman.

Was LSU #1 at the time?

He should be the clear favorite for it right now..
2 games to go and he is only 500 yards of total offense and 36 points behind Cam Newtons entire SEASON. Absurd.

I think an OK quarterback named C. Johnson beat Nebraska on the road a LONG time ago.

LSU was #6 when Leak beat them in Death Valley.
