2002 vs Florida was equally as bad in my opinion. Here we were having a special season, we haven't had in a long time. Top 10 team and we lose to a very bad Florida team. On top of that, Spurrier wasn't even the coach!

Georgia went through a period of time that Florida was the biggest obstacle they had ever seen. They could not buy a victory against those people. I often said that if you dressed Vanderbilt up in Florida uniforms Georgia would lose to them every year.

That is what I like about this three game winning streak. A lot of sin to get paid for by Florida. The series against Auburn one time was getting rather ridiculous when Dye coached there.

I'll be in the minority here but Bama played their guts out that game. I tip my hat to them on a hell of a game. Tua made a hell of a throw in overtime and that was that. The end result sucked but it's not as if that Bama squad was undeserving.

We'll get our seat at the table here soon.

Glad to see you don’t fell bad about back to back 20 plus point losses to LSU.

Bama is a bigger hurdle than LSU.

-It was 18 years ago, it's time to move on. That game hurt bad but I mean...I've gotten on with my life
-The refs totally fricked us, pollack intercepted grossman inside our own 5 and handed it sideways to sean jones who recorded a 95 yard touchdown, but the refs called it back as a forward lateral. Completely BS. We still should have won anyways, but just shows the refs have alwasy been incompetent. Nothing will change that
-You gotta remember Miami and OSU were both undefeated all year. Even with a win in that game we likely get Auburn'd and still finish 3rd behind them. In 2002 we didn't have much clout after the clusterfrick that was the 90s.

Judging by recent scores, not really.

That Florida team may have lost 5 games, but they weren’t very bad. Still painful though. Glad we have flipped that series.

1. And people like to scoff when I mention luck playing a role. That’s classic uga luck. Rotten.
2. Ohio state is the team that gets left out if we beat Florida.

the reason lsu fans are so insufferable is that they can't even fathom that anyone else is better at something or more difficult of an out than themselves.

bama cost us a national title in 2012. They cost us a national title in 2017. They cost us an sec title and playoff bid in 2018.

LSU cost us an sec title and playoff bid in 2019. LSU's win in 2018 didn't mean a single thing, considering we still win the sec and make the playoffs had we beaten bama. It's no different than losing to SC this season, it meant nothing int he grand scheme of things.

Bama is far bigger a hurdle to uga than lsu, I'm sorry if you can't come to grips with that.

Yep, Bama’s beating of UGA cost them 2 national titles. LSU’s 2 wins weren’t that devasting to UGA compared to those 2 big losses

And what exactly would your point be? I didn't realize our sec championship game opponents weren't really hurdles since they weren't on the schedule one September.

We've actually beaten LSU more recently than Bama

We were ahead of OSU in the BCS going into that game. We probably would've lost to Miami anyhow.

Tua made a hell of a throw

Tua made a good throw to a WR that was wide open because our DB was lost looking at Tua instead of covering his position.

DB wasn't in position.
But he wasn't responsible for over the top.
That was on the safety who got deked by Tua's eyes.
