We have players that can't make simple lay-ups. We feel your pain...

Coaching was never strong suit
It was getting better talent by whatever means
Plus he lost some good assistants last year
Bruiser flint is terrible

Kenny Payne left for the Knicks. Biggest issue, as he was the prep coach for games.

Cal has never been a good in game decision making coach, he won mostly by talent alone, and now without Kenny Payne, he's struggling.

He also does have an attitude that his job is to get players to the NBA as a first priority, instead of winning games for UK. That attitude was fine when we were winning, not so much now. He continues to play his pet players that he is trying to get into the lottery instead of players that are playing better and deserve more minutes.

Not to mention that this team has no real on court leader, and they seem to struggle most games with playing simple defense.

This is a lost year. The hope to me would be that most, if not all who are eligible would come back next year.

Alabama, the SEC is yours this year. Enjoy!

Freshman players, a point guard who's supposed to be going to his high school senior prom. Most of the upperclassmen are first year transfers. No summer practice due to Covid restrictions particularly hurts this many first time contributors. It is what it is.

The are a very young team. A one point today, both teams did not have a player higher than a Sophomore on the floor. Mostly Freshman.

Aren't they always though? Usually their talent is just so far beyond the competition their youth doesn't matter.

We usually have a couple of guys return to compliment the younger players. The only one who did was Brooks and we didn’t get him on the floor until the Florida game.

Don't they usually take a Summer Tour of Europe and play a lot over there to get their chemistry together ? Covid killed that and I do not know how much they got to play together this fall. Teams with upperclassman have a big advantage this year. I think that is why you saw the shitshow of game the first half today.

We have a coach that refuses to play the guys that are playing the best instead of looking at their star rating.

How in God's green earth do you not look at the box score at halftime and start Allen and Toppin the second half?

This is all on Calipari. And some of his post game comments are ridiculous. Boston could literally make 6 turnovers in a row and he gets minutes but Allen doesn't take a contested shot and cal yanks him? Bizzare.

5-6 beats 4-8 plus UK football beat a ranked team. This team couldn't beat a rug.
