Choosing to not follow or support the team was obviously not an easy decision, but I can't see why I should when I'd be contributing to the totalitarian left's stranglehold on public discourse and its pernicious race myths.

Please expound on how you following along is contributing to what you interpret as discourse.

Read carefully what I'm asking and understand that this is not me agreeing with or refuting your opinion, I'm asking how your eyes on the TV is contributing to this dystopian cesspool that you're describing

To allow trivial political beliefs to cause a lifetime rabid LSU fan to stop supporting the team is WEAK.

Left - Right, who gives a shite? It's college football and we only get it for a few months a year.

It's America, everyone should give a shite. No America, no college football, and that's what we're looking at here. A new America reborn, or the permanent death of old America. There's no going back. This isn't just "politics". This country is at war with itself, and America is fighting for survival.

Didn't think so, its really funny because so many get upset over the kneeling and don't even know they are not even out there.

I work in the medical field. It’s my job, so yes. I do it so my company doesn’t fire me. Same reason I wear pants because if I didn’t, I’d get fired.

Without untold millions in revenues from fans' support, universities don't bend over to pander to football programs' perceived needs. I know I'm a drop in the bucket, but there will be broad pushback; how much difference it makes, I can't say

I don't have a problem that a voice is heard, this is America and we all have that right. The problem is someone or a group gets preachy and tells people you can't say this or that. But they refuse to look at themselves in the mirror and change their problems. Very judgemental and hypocritical of them.

I won't stand nor tolerate the police officers being put down because of who they are. If you don't like them then fine but don't be a bitch, breaks laws and play the victim. Don't put yourself in a situation where the police is knocking on your door or you are being handcuffed.

I won't be surprised if more officers started quitting or many others started doing protests themselves because weak arse city or state officials refuse to back them.

You need to do what's right for you, and that's your right to do so. I don't believe the pushback is going to be as bad as you think.

This season isn't a good barometer anyway because of ALL the other factors affecting attendance, viewership etc.

Right to work laws coming back to bite Republicans in the arse is the best thing that will come out of 2020.

You don't know what I support, actually. And I'm sure that you can understand that somebody can support police not shooting somebody in the back or choking them out without supporting (financially or otherwise) the big, bad BLM organization.

And I've never heard of that person nor do I care what she says.

A lot. Nobody wants to be preached. This is an imperfect world and so you have to take the good from the bad.

Like "frick you I won't do what you tell me" wasn't always political.

There is a big difference in allowing counterculture freaks to live their lives in peace with their idiotic views and having it become the mainstream. Let's not act like this is just some kids having fun. We are way past the point of, "Don't hassle me man!"
