Just confirmed with two sources that Major Applewhite is expected to follow Will Muschamp to Florida as the school's new OC.

UF is giving a bunch of kids guns. They could hit the target but have a better chance of blowing there head off.

Damn, you weren't happy with Corch and now you aren't happy with CWM.
Who should we hire to make you happy?

That will be a mistake unless Muschamp hired a co-offensive coordinator to help him along. But Applewhite might have been just too young when he took the Alabama OC job in 2007. I always thought his schemes were pretty good. It was his playcalling that left a lot to be desired. He should have been much more conservative and ran the ball more with turnover-prone JPW as his QB.

I'm convinced LarryDavid and ThirdandChavis are the same hater

I know when Urban told the team he was leaving, they went nuts and a lot of them started saying they were leaving. It wasn't pretty in that room. They must have figured they needed to act fast, but this? They had a good chance to pull a Mal Moore and knock it out of the park. Hell, good NFL coaches are about to get fired. There are some really good people available. This is a premier job, one of the best in the nation and they're going with this?

Well... He managed to ruin UF's perfect season in 2006 and along with Bo Pelini managed to stop Tebow in 2007...
I like the hire. The last thing I want to see if rivals loving the hire...

I don't know what you're talking about. I wanted Florida to get a great coach. I will give whoever they hire a chance, just not really thrilled about this, so far. I do want Florida to be great again, soon.

I wouldn't put too much into anyone's sources. Sources told us all day Stoops was reading a contract from UF.
There were so many rumors floating it was silly on our boards.

this is good news for florida, texas was known as a hell of a rushing team the last couple year.
